Saving energy and helping companies to be energy efficient is our vision!
Innovation, momentum and holistic thinking characterize our institute.
We work with licensed tools that conserve our members’ resources and include the momentum for rapid analysis, evaluation and implementation.
We are constantly on the lookout for new, sustainably tested, affordable and efficient technologies and techniques to further reduce unavoidable energy consumption.
We would like to provide interested companies and organizations with a barrier-free introduction to the complex topic of climate protection through energy efficiency.
At present, the majority of construction projects are still being carried out according to “pattern F” – i.e. without basic energy efficiency techniques.
Cost pressures prevent energy-efficient equipment, which is somewhat more expensive to purchase.
Life cycle costs – the accumulation of the effort of creation and operation in relation to the operating time – are slowly coming into focus. You can find out more about this soon in our Quick Check Opportunity Costs.
Even so-called prestige projects are built completely LED-free. The technological change from T8 fluorescent lamps to T5 fluorescent lamps is hailed as an energy-efficient revolution. And if modern LED technology, such as panels, is actually used, intelligent lighting control is often “dispensed with” (or not paid attention to). Simple electronic components such as a daylight sensor or a microwave sensor are not installed because expertise and competence are lacking, and so valuable potential is wasted.
